E-MAIL: none, none. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a
delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-99-G-1101
with Raytheon Missile Systems Company, Tucson, AZ, for vertical launch
software and subsequent simulation verification of the upgrade to the
existing Sparrow RIM-7P missile borne computer software. Raytheon will
develop changes necessary to optimize the vertical launch capabilities
of the newly developed 7P++ software. Raytheon vertical launch
simulation will be utilized to develop the software using an iterative
approach. The software will be run through the Raytheon
Hardware-in-the-Loop simulation to validate the design. This synopsis
