C -- OPEN-ENDED MULTI-DISCIPLINARY A/E PROJECT SOL RFP 652-90-99 DUE 030899 POC Diane Campbell, Contracting Officer, (804) 675-5485, Fax (804) 675-5588 The VA Medical Center, Richmond, Virginia, is seeking an Architect/Engineering firm capable of providing professional architectural and engineering service for open-ended multi-disciplinary projects in accordance with terms and conditions of the contract. The Government does not guarantee any specific quantity of work to be performed under this contract. Except as the contract may otherwise provide, if the Government's requirement does not result in orders against the contract, that fact shall not constitute the basis for an equitable price adjustment. The Government is not required to purchase from the contractor requirements in excess of their needs or any funding limitation identified in the contract. Delivery or performance shall be made only as authorized by issuance of a delivery order. The actual cost of each delivery order issued will be determined as the requirement is established. Rates for each A/E discipline, service, profit and overhead rates will be in accordance with the schedule of rates stated in the contract. Eligible firms must meet the following minimum qualification and requirement: Specialize in the design of medical facilities, additions, and renovations for the previous 5 years. Located within a 100 mile radius of this medical center. All construction drawings must be provided in Autocad format, Release 12. Award is contingent upon the availability of funds. Requests for a solicitation package must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. Interested firms are to submit their SF-254's and 255's by March 8, 1999.
