(MARCORSYSCOM) intends to award a contract to Applied Research
Laboratory -- The Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA,
16804-0030, to perform an assessment of susceptibility of ground
vehicles to Ground Vehicle Stopper (GVS) technology. Applied Research
Laboratory will be tasked to; provide an assessment of the technology
trends and reliance on electronic engine controls for future ground
vehicles through inter-action with the domestic automobile industry to
determine current and future electronic shielding initiatives to
prevent microwave and electromagnetic interference; develop a vehicle
matrix to show the mix of different vehicles operating within a
specific country to allow planners to evaluate a country's
susceptibility to GVS technology; and submit a final report describing
the results of the assessment of the susceptibility of automobiles to
