The services required include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area, in East Baton Rouge Parish/County. Estimated total number of inmate days is 14,620 for the Base Period; 7,300 inmate days for Option Year One; 7,300 inmate days for Option Year Two; and 7,320 inmate days for Option Year Three. The estimated RFP issue date is o/a February 1, 1999; the estimated closing date is o/a April 2, 1999. The contract Base Period is 24 months with three one-year options to renew.
