The associated standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 7011; size standard is $5.0 million. This annoucement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation package will not be issued. Solicitation number TIRNO-99-Q-LDA06 is issued as a request for quotations. All references to "offers" are understood to be "Quotations". The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-08. Award will be made to one offeror who fully meets requirements for hotel meeting rooms. This is a firm fixed price requirement for eight (8) hotel meeting rooms. CLIN 001: two (2) bargaining rooms with standard tables and chairs to accommodate a minimum of 20 people each; CLIN 002: four (4) caucus rooms with standard tables and chairs to accommodate a minimum of 15 people each; CLIN 003: two (2) rooms suitable for office space with data lines for one (1) fax machine and up to four (4) computers, and electrical connection for a full size stand-alone copier. Government will provide the equipment and standard office furniture. The meeting rooms must be available for IRS/NTEU use twenty-four (24) hours a day; Monday-Friday. The office space must be available for use seven (7) days per week; twenty-four (24) hours per day. Period of performance shall be January 4, 1999 -- September 30, 1999. All rooms, except the bargaining rooms, must have solid walls, no bifold or temporary partitions. The hotel must be organized (unionized). The hotel must be located in Washington, D.C. and be within 15 minutes travel time to the IRS National Office (1111 Constitution Avenue, N.W.) and to National NTEU Headquarters (901 E. Street, N.W.) and be within four blocks of a Metro stop. All responsible sources who can provide the meeting spaces shall submit written quotations before 4:00 p.m., December 28, 1998.
