This requirement is for the furnishing of commercial grade kitchen and serving line equipment for a new dining facility being built at Key Field ANG Base in Meridian, MS. Solicitation will be a Request for Quote. The SIC code is 3556. The work requires furnishing all material, labor, plant, tools and equipment in performing all operations necessary to assemble, deliver and install the kitchen/food service equipment, complete and ready for use and all related work in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Successful Kitchen Equipment Contractor shall agree to warehouse all items of kitchen equipment and to coordinate with the General Contractor on delivery and installation of said equipment so as not to impede the project construction schedule. Scheduled completion time of building is Oct 1999. If an offerer chooses to quote an "Alternate" brand, proof of equality must be submitted with quote including the manufacturer cut sheet. The Kitchen Equipment Contractor shall submit all electrical andplumbing/mechanical rough-in drawings. They shall also submit detailed shop drawings showing complete details of each item of fabricated equipment. Prices on equipment shall be FOB Destination. Offerer must also quote on installation of equipment and fabricated equipment. Award will be based on all or none. A firm fixed price contract will be issued. This is an unrestricted solicitation.
