The Government intends to procure on a Sole Source basis from Veda Systems, 44417 Pecan Court, California, Maryland 20619, upgrades to two Optical Recorder Peripherals Model IMUX-251-01. The upgrade of one each shall include (a) Installation of two GFE Bit Synchronizer Modules, (b) Installation of a GFE GPS IRIG Timing Module, (c) Addition of Ethernet control capability and RS-422 differential PCM data and clock outputs, (d) Replacement of front and rear ORP connector panels (e) Repainting of entire unit. Both units shall be upgraded as follows: (a) The current model T4 optical disk drive shall be upgraded to a model T6 optical disk drive, and (b) A 4 Gbyte hard disk drive shall be added internal to the ORP. The ORP shall support archive of data to either the hard disk drive or optical disk drive. The transfer of data from optical disk to hard disk and vice versa shall be supported.
