The Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, intends to enter into a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with SFA, Inc., 1401 McCormick Drive, Landover, CA 20785-5322, via individual orders issued thereunder, various rapid prototyping, installation, field engineering and maintenance in support of the Government C4I systems. The contractor will be task to perform in areas of software engineering, hardware engineering, rapid prototyping, installation, documentation, training, life cycle support, depot level support and program management support. These services will be procured on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only those services for which SFA, Inc. has proprietary and/or unique qualifications will be included in the scope of the BOA. It is anticipated that the BOA's ordering period will cover 1 year with 2 one year options. Periodic review and synopsis of the BOA will be performed as required. Individual orders will specify required tasks and all applicable delivery terms and conditions. The BOA will be executed on or about 31 January 1999.
