Agency intends to issue a sole source contract to Data Tech Services,
Inc., of Cochran, GA for the renewal of services in the implementation
of interfaces and system activation for the Facilities and Equipment
Maintenance (FEM) System. Contractor must provide on-site services at
the Marine Corps Logistics Bases, Albany, GA and Barstow, CA.
Approximately 6 weeks out of the year are spent at Barstow, CA. The
following tasks are required: (1) Interface relationship between the
data input through FEM screens and the expected interface actions which
may be created. Expected postings to the tables within FEM data tables
as a result of inbound interfaces; (2) Assist Marine Corps personnel
in resolving data structure related problems as they arise; (3) Assist
the Marine Corps users during startup; (4) Assist G3 and G6
organizations in the transition of FEM from contractor support to
organic support; (5) Evaluate MAXIMO 4.0 and the ability to upgrade
MCLB Albany and Barstow to this version; (6) Develop customized reports
as required by MCLB Albany and Barstow; (7) Develop training material
and perform training as required on new or existing applications. The
period of performance is February 1, 1999 through January 31, 2000. All
interested parties capable of providing the same type of service are
encouraged to respond to this notice by submitting sufficient technical
and cost information which demonstrates that capability. Responses
should be submitted by January 4, 1999. Timely responses shall be
considered prior to award. If no sufficient, timely repsonse is
received, award will be made w/o further notice to Data Tech Services,
