Officer The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security,
has a requirement for security equipment maintenance services. These
services include the overall management and operation of Washington, DC
area maintenance and testing facilities; the training, scheduling and
management of traveling teams performing scheduled maintenance on
electronic security equipment at approximately 158 overseas diplomatic
posts and selected Washington, DC area facilities; the repair of small
arms; and the repair/installation of armor plating on vehicles. The
majority of the services will be performed overseas. Proposals will be
evaluated on technical factors with the critical element being the
education, ability, and experience of personnel. It is critical the
technical personnel are highly qualified, experienced, and have the
ability to work independently in an overseas environment. All personnel
are required to have Secret Clearances issued by the Defense
Investigative Service (DIS) prior to being assigned to this contract.
All key personnel and non-key traveling personnel must have a Top
Secret Clearance prior to being assigned to this contract. The
government anticipates award of a Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite
Quantity (IDIQ), labor hour contract for one base year and four
priced-out option years. Interested firms must submit a written request
