Stang, Contracting Officer, 317-510-4702 The Department of Defense Finance & Accounting Service-Indianapolis (DFAS-IN) Center intends to issue a combined synopsis/request for quotation for commercial item in accordance with FAR, subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is MDA260-99-Q-0003 and should be referenced on all correspondence. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect throughout Federal Acquisition Circular 97-06. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The standard industrial classification (SIC) is 4899 and the small business size standard is $11.0 million. The acquisition is being procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) no later than May 31, 1998 to receive solicitations, contract awards or payments. Each toner cartridge should have a new drum, consist of long-life and wands should be provided as required. (There will be no exchanges. If remanufactured cartridges cannot be obtained, provide price(s) for new cartridges.)
