During the period of December 1998 through February 1999, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) intends to acquire various transmission services in support of NASA Mission and Programmatic communications requirements. These requirements are non-mandatory or outside the scope of FTS2000, and cover all types of transmission services/circuits to include voice, dedicated data, telemetry, video, and IP routed traffic. Data transmission requirements range from 9.6Kbps to OC-3, and may require ATM, Frame Relay, or SONET capability. Dependent upon service level and performance requirements CSC may request terrestrial lines, satellite services or any combination of the two. Services are required worldwide; however, the majority of requirements are within the continental United States. Since a large number of these requirements are mission support related, lead-times between knowledge of the requirement and required implementation date are usually very short. Therefore, this announcement is the only notice that will be posted in regards to these requirements. CSC maintains a list of companies who are qualified and have expressed an interest in competing for these requirements. To have your business added to this list and receive solicitations as they become available, please provide in writing your company's name, business size, address, point of contact, voice/fax telephone numbers and e-mail address (if available) to the CSC Procurement representative shown below within 15 days of this announcement. Firms may also submit other information (sales literature, capabilities statements, or references) which may be used to establish the qualifications and past performance history of the company.
