This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number DAAE30-99-Q-1007. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-38. The Standard Industrial Classification Number is 7389, and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. This acquisition will be procured as a 100% Small Business Set Aside requirement. STATEMENT OF WORK is as follows: 1) The Government will provide the contractor with original documents to be reproduced. 2) The contractor shall reproduce the following types of documents: Film Negatives, Direct Positive Wash-Offs, Contract Wash-Offs, Blow-back from 35mm aperture card to projection Wash-Offs and to projection positive matte film, Half Tone positives, Blue/Black line diazo copies, Block/backs from 35mm aperture card to positive paper will be full size representation of drawing size shown on image. The following sizes and dimensions are as follows: Size D, Dimensions 22 x34; Size E, Dimensions 34 x 44, Size F, Dimensions 40 x 28, Size J, Dimensions 34 variable length. 2) The contractor shall provide photoplotting service on 7 MIL Stable Base Mylar PCB from Magnetic media. The dimensions are as follows: 5x7, 12x18, 6x9, 18x18, 10x12, 16x20, 11x14, 20x24. 3) The contractor shall return finished reproductions within 72 hours after pick-up. 4) The contractor shall complete the above within twelve months after receipt of purchase order. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the offeror whose offer conforms to this soliciation, is the most advantageous to the Government, and the lowest cost acceptable, responsible offer. Any resulting purchase order will contain appropriate FAR and DOD FAR Supplement clauses (and any implementations thereof) for commercial items.
