Y -- RELOCATE AIRCRAFT WASHRACK NM AIR NATIONAL GUARD, KAFB, NM SOL DAHA29-99-B-0001 DUE 010899 POC Contract Specialist Diana Duran (505) 474-1823 (Site Code DAHA29) This work consists of installation of an 87 foot square concrete Wash Rack with continuous drains for surface water at the north and south ends of the concrete paving. There will be an 8 inch curb at the east and west end of the pad with a 20'x30' concrete extension at the northwest corner for installation of a 12'X16' metal building structure. Provide air compressor and other supplies necessary to operate the Wash Rack. Will need asphalt paved access ramps to the Wash Rack. Also included in this work will be the installation of two frost-free hose bibs and the water line necessary to connect. Contractor to relocate the existing fire hydrant to a new location along the taxiway and a compressed air line will be installed underground to provide connections on the Wash Rack to a compressed air source located in the relocated metal building. The surface drainage will be piped to an oil/water separator and then connected to an existing pump station. This pump station will need to be conditioned, as well as the paving at the existing Wash Rack. Work at the existing Wash Rack will include: repair and resurface of existing paving, relocate existing metal building to new wash rack area, place asphalt ramp, demolition of existing concrete pads, utility renovation, removal and disposal of several existing pieces of equipment, and installation of pipe bollards. This solicitation is issued unrestricted. The SIC Code is 1771 and size standard is $7.0 million. The construction cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The performance period is 120 days.
