negotiate with McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary
of the Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St Louis, MO, 63166-0516,
engineering technical services for the ASRAAM & F/A-18 integration
effort. This effort is to be performed from February 1, 1999 through
August 31, 1999, and it is anticipated that this will be made via
delivery order under N00019-97-G-0051. According to their Letter of
Agreement with the United States, Australia has designated the
McDonnell Douglas Corporation the sole source designer, producer, and
supporter of the F/A-18 aircraft and the only known source with the
knowledge, experience, and proprietary technical data to perform this
task within the required time-frame. This synopsis is for informational
