36 -- LEAD DROPPER ASSEMBLY SOL N00406-99-R-5047 DUE 121098 POC Mary Carkeek (360)476-9240 The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for lead dropper assembly IAW BUWEPS Drawing No. 2158816 and its associated drawings in support of the MK 46 Torpedo program. The solicitation will be for a base quantity plus 4 option quantities.The base quantity will be for 1000 units. The option quantities will be for 1000 units each. Option 1 will be excerised approximately within 365 days after contract award; Option 2 exercised within 730 days after award; Option 3 exercised within 1095 after contract award; and Option 4 exercised within 1460 days after contract award. It is desired that the contractor deliver 200 units approximately every 60 days. Delivery of 1st increments is desired 120 days after contract award. The contract will have inspection and acceptance at origin, with shipment of the units to the various Government sites via GBL. The solicitation will be issued on or about 10 December 98 with a 30 day closing date as a 100% small business set-aside, SIC 3679. Past performance will be evaluated and compliance to ISO-9000 quality matrix is required. All responsible sources may submit an offer/bid which shall be considered by FISC Puget Sound.
