Architect and Engineer Contract for the Illinois Air National Guard
Facilities at Scott Air Force Base, Springfield, Peoria, and Chicago
O'Hare and multiple locations throughout the state of Illinois for the
Army National Guard. Active Duty Air Force Units at Scott Air Force
Base may also use this contract. Interested firms must submit their SF
254 and SF 255 within 30 calendar days of publication of this notice.
The SF 254 and SF 255 shall be delivered to the following address:
USPFO-IL-PC, ATTN: 1LT Brian S. Creech, 1301 N. MacArthur Blvd.,
Springfield, IL 62702-2399. Services will be provided on an as need
basis. Individual Delivery Orders shall not exceed $300,000. The total
orders under a 12 month period shall not exceed $1,500,000. This
contract shall contain a base period plus one 12 month option period.
This contract will include Type "A", "B", and "C" Serices Architect and
Engineer Services. Projects will consist of studies, design,
preparation of contract drawings and specifications and construction
inspection and supervision. Typical porjects may include, but are not
limited to, design of new facilities, adding to and/or altering
existing facilities, repair and maintenance projects involving roofs,
HVAC systems, electrical, pavements, surveys, hazardous materials
identification and abatement, and special studies. Evaluation criteria
will consist of (1) Professional Qualifications neccesary for
satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specializes
experience and technical comptence in the type of work required; (3)
Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time established for
each project; (4) Past performance on contracts with government
agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of
work, and compliance with performance schedules; (5) Location in the
geographical area and knowledge of the locality of the projects; and
(6) Demonstrated success in prescribing the use of recovered materials
and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in design. This
contract will be unrestricted. All qualified firms may submitted SF
