Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has requirement for up to 70 Stand-off Land Attack Missile Expanded Response (SLAM ER) All-Up-Rounds (AUR) in tactical, exercise, and training configurations, 134 Automatic Target Acquisition (ATA) hardware components for the upgrade of 67 existing SLAM ER AURs, and all related equipment, services and documentation. NAVAIR intends to award this effort to McDonnell Douglas Corp. (MDC), a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St Louis, MO 63166-0516. MDC is the designer and manufacturer of the SLAM ER missile and the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, facilities, and experience to perform this effort within the required time frame.
