COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF NOVEMBER 17,1998 PSA#2223SP -- ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT FOR NASA SCIENCE MISSIONS The
National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Office of Space
Science is releasing a DRAFT NASA Research Announcement for community
comment (final release is anticipated for February 1999) entitled
Advanced Technology Development for NASA Science Missions. This NRA
solicits proposals for developing technologies that will enhance the
science productivity and lower the cost of future nonspecific robotic
science missions that may be supported by the Space Science, Earth
Science, or Human Exploration and Development of Space enterprises or
otherwise offered by NASA. Participation is open to all categories of
organizations outside of NASA, foreign and domestic, including
educational institutions, profit and nonprofit organizations, and other
Government agencies. NASA welcomes comments on the DRAFT NRA, which
will be available electronically from November 20, 1998, through
December 18, 1998, via the World Wide Web by selecting "Research
Opportunities" at: http://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/oss/. For those not
having access to the Internet, a printed copy may be requested from the
program executive, Mr. Glenn Mucklow, Advanced Technology and Mission
Studies Division, Code SM, Office of Space Science, NASA Headquarters,
Washington, DC 20546-0001; E-mail: gmucklow@hq.nasa.gov. Comments on
the NRA may be posted at URL: http://ace.arc.nasa.gov/ in the NASA
Headquarters folder under NASA Advanced Technology Development for NASA
