NAVICP Mechanicsburg intends to award a follow-on extension to an existing sole source contract with Trident Systems, Inc. for Engineering and Technical services supporting the Acquisition Center of Excellence (ACE). This sole source contract modification will be issued under authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1). The purpose of this contract is to provide follow-on engineering and technical services. The work continues the development of as-built documentation, the generation of process definitions, and the mapping for initial facility operations and reconfigurations. The contractor, Tident, operates the one of a kind, highly complex ACE facility. Trident Systems,Inc. has been involved in the design and development of the ACE facility since its inception. Trident is designing and developing and documenting the reconfigurable physical components, custom facility resource control software and the electronic architecture.
