Subject CBD notice is hereby amended to clarify the requirements for the collocation of the power facility through incorporation of the following contract options: Option 1: The addition of up to approximately 50,000 gross square feet to accommodate future location of power generation and cooling equipment. Option 2: The design and construction of a physical plant to be collocated with the Remote Delivery Facility to provide 20 megawatts power generation, fuel supply, 4,000 tons of chiller and cooling tower capacity, and primary distribution to the Pentagon. The estimated cost of the base contract for the Remote Delivery Facility remains unchanged, between $30,000,000 and $50,000,000. The estimated cost of the overall project, inclusive of Options 1 or 2, is between $50,000,000 and $80,000,000. The planned release date of the subject solicitation has been changed to November 23, 1998. A Pre-proposal Conference will be held on December 1, 1998 at 1:00 pm at the DLA Headquarters Building, Ft.
