management, supervision, personnel, labor, materials, transportation,
and general and specialized equipment for maintenance and repair of
aids to navigation (aton) buoys for various activities within the Ninth
Coast Guard District, as specified in the Performance Work Statement
(PWS) and the solicitation. SIC Code 3443 applies. The Small Business
Size Standard is 500 Employees. The period of performance is one base
year, beginning on or about 20 January 1999 through 19 January 2000,
with four one-year options. The Government will award a Requirements
Type contract from this Request for Proposals (RFP) to the responsible
offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most
advantageous to the Government, price and past-performance considered.
This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. The solicitation
will be issued on or about 30 November 1998 and may be obtained by
