S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Contracting Center is seeking an experienced real estate developer to partner with the Army. The purpose of this partnership is to develop a Business Plan for Fort Sam Houston (San Antonio), Texas. The Business Plan will address means and methods to create increased value and/or income from Fort Sam Houston's facilities and other assets. The SIC code is 6552 and the small business standard is $5 million. This requirement is being solicited as a Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The RFQ number is DADA10-99-Q-0014. This requirement is unrestricted. The RFQ will be issued on or about November 16, 1998. An industry conference will be held at Fort Sam Houston in December 1998 to review the opportunity and consider any comments and/or proposed revisions. If necessary, the Army will issue a revised RFQ, and will host a pre-proposal conference at Fort Sam Houston in February 1999. Responses to the RFQ will be due on or about March 16, 1999.
