This is a combined synopsis/solicitation of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The following description is provided: Request for an Hospital Telephone Appointment Systems (HTAS) Y2K upgrade. The Y2K upgrade supplies, components and services are from PHOENIX TELEDATA SERVICES INC., SUITE 223, 346 OAKS TRAIL, GARLAND, TEXAS 75043, telephone number (972)226-1000. The functionality of this system will include: Y2K compatible, In-coming call management-HTAS coordinate over 10 thousands calls per month; Frequency management-HTAS tracks all in-coming calls; Report generation-facilitate manpower staffing for peak periods; After hour call notification-HTAS notifies five on call Providers at a given time; Remote access-HTAS will allow identified personnel to remotely access the system to update voice options instantaneous; Call forwarding-HTAS clerks can transfer calls to any phone number up to ten digits; Message management-HTAS will allow advertisement while patients are on hold; Voice Mail capabilities-HTAS thirty or more individual voice mail boxes; Call display on phone devices-HTAS a visual display of the number of calls waiting to answered. The contractor that receives this award must be able to provide 24 hours a day, 365 days a year support. The contractor also must provide operational resolutions within 1 hour of notification. During a complete hardware failure system must recover to full capacity within 72 hours. Additional services: lines add-ons, movers, HTAS changes, and training.
