X460!! The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement for DC-to-AC
power conversion modules for use in testing the Integrated Power System
(IPS). The modules have been partially designed by Lockheed Martin
Corporation under its competitively awarded contract for
design/development of the IPS, which is an electric-drive propulsion
system for US Navy warships. Integration services for the IPS
land-based engineering site will also be procured. The Navy intends to
award on a sole-source basis to Lockheed Martin, Syracuse, NY. See
