labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision required to
construct six (6) rail extensions to an existing pile supported
platform at the U.S. Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore, MD. Performance
Period is 8 wks. after receipt of a Notice to Proceed. Work Sequence:
Contractor shall not begin the on site demolition until all material
and equipment is available so that work can proceed without
interruption. Contractor shall complete work at the site within 21 days
of cutting into existing concrete. The western most workbay will not be
available for this contract after 2/14/99. Ships are scheduled to be
placed in this workbay after 2/14/99. Estimated Range is $25,000 to
$100,000. There is no fee for a copy of the solicitation. The Standard
Industrial Classification (SIC) is 1629. Quotes are due on/or about
12/2/98. This procurement is open to both large and small businesses in
accordance with the Small Business CompetitivenessDemonstration Act. A
Bid Bond is not required. A Payment Bond will be required after award.
