None, None. The Government anticipates issuing multiple awards for
waste management and disposal of hazardous wastes. The following is
representative of the types of wastes involved: (a) chemical wastes:
Labpack waste, bulk liquid and solid, recyclable/universal,
medical/pathological waste; (b) radioactive wastes: dry/solid
radioactive waste, liquid radioactive waste, radioactive animal
carcasses, miscellaneous radioactive waste; (c) mixed wastes: liquid
scintillation counting vials, bulk scintillation fluid, labpacks
(liquid and solid). The resultant contractor will be responsible for
providing all labor and equipment for the sorting, segregating, packing
and transporting, treating, and disposal of hazardous waste. The
contractor shall also be familiar with basic contingency requirement
and able to implement the necessary procedures, should a spill occur.
Waste Analysis and waste management will also be required. Offerors may
propose in one or more areas and will be evaluated accordingly. The
Government reserves the right to make split awards. In the event of
multiple awards, if more that one acceptable proposals are received
from small businesses and more than one contract is awarded, the first
contract will be reserved for small businesses. Subsequent contracts
