The first is the COLT Model RO777/M4 Carbine Caliber 5.56mm (295 ea.). It is a lightweight, compact, fixed carrying handle, gas operating carbine with four position telescoping buttstock, large diameter handguard with a double layer of heat dissipating liner. Fire controls: safe/semi-automatic/fully-automatic. Sight system: COLT A2 sights, target style rear sight, with dual apertures micrometer adjustable to 800m. Front sight adjustable for elevation. Weight without magazine 5.65 lbs. Length with stock extended 33.0". Length with stock retracted 29.8". 14.5" barrel is 6 groove, right hand twist of 1 in 7". The second weapon is the COLT MILSPEC M16A2 Semi Automatic Rifle Caliber 5.56mm rifle (314 ea.). It is a lightweight, fixed buttstock and carrying handle, gas operated shoulder fired weapon. Round, symmetrical ribbed handguard with heat dissipating aluminum liner. Fire controls are safe and semi-automatic. Sight system: COLT A2 sights, target style rear sight, with dual apertures micrometer adjustable to 800mm. Front sight adjustable for elevation. Weight without magazine 7.9 lbs. Length 39.6". Heavy 20" barrel has 1 in 7" twist with muzzle brake compensator. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated for this requirement.
