Weidenbaugh (907) 249-1711 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR VEHICLE MAINTENANCE/FIRE STATION COMPLEX which shall consist of one 18,100 SF Vehicle Maintenance Facility and one 11,200 SF Fire Station. The Vehicle Maintenance facility will provide administrative, service, and warm storage areas, for government owned vehicles assigned to the installation. The Vehicle Maintenance Facility will consist of administrative offices, restrooms and locker rooms; tool and parts storage area; vehicle maintenance, repair, paint and wash bays, warm vehicle storage; and a fuel dispensing island. This project also includes a Fire Station that will provide training, administation, living quarters, storage, and service areas for 24 hour per day fire department operations. Road access, paved parking, area lighting and fencing wil be included for both facilities. Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, transportation and ultility services to successfully complete this project. Magnitude of construction is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. This solicitation is unrestricted and available for full and open competition. The government intends to encourage the foundation of Partnering Concepts between the government and contractor. The invitation to bid is expected to be available on or about 15 December 1998 with an anticipated bid opening date of 14 January 1999.
