The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) along with the other U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) Major Subordinate Command's are currently evaluating the AMC Contractor Performance Certification Program (CP)2. This effort is to re-define, develop and implement, partnered with industry, a uniform AMC program for the execution of a quality recognition certification that follows the concepts of the acquisition reform initiative. CECOM is soliciting our industrial base to provide comments; issues and concerns to the implementation of said program. Inputs received will be collected and evaluated to determine the "value added" factor of such a program for CECOM and our industrial base (from small to large business). The information provided, unless requested otherwise, will be posted on the CECOM (CP)2 web site located at www.monmouth.army.mil/cecom/lrc/tools/lrccp2.html allowing for a transfer of information between our government and industry partners on a real time basis.
