The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), Counter-drug
Technology Assessment Center (CTAC), representing the Executive Office
of the President, is currently seeking potential sources with
technological solutions for vehicle tracking as applied to law
enforcement with an initial emphasis on covert operations. Law
Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) are seeking state-of-the-science vehicle
tracking technologies with particular areas of concern including:
1)accuracy, 2)transportability and functionality, 3)hardware and
software acquisition costs, 4)labor costs, 5)maintenance, and 6)fast
covert sensor installation. Sources with functional hardware systems or
prototypes should send four (4) copies of relevant descriptions of
their systems and capabilities to: Environmental Information Systems
