Building Services has a requirement to renovate approximately 640
square meters of the U. S. District Court on the third (3rd) floor at
the Michael J. Dillon U. S. Courthouse, Buffalo, N.Y. The work will be
concentrated in the U. S. Bankruptcy Court area. The major items of
work will consist generally of the following construction: selective
demolition, various alterations to existing walls, erection of new
partitions, insertion of new ceilings, providing new finishes and
built-in equipment, and additions and alterations to HVAC, plumbing,
fire protection, and electrical systems. The successful contractor
shall be required to adhere to GSA security requirements as set forth
in the contract. The estimated cost range of this work is between
$250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Estimated IFB release date is November 16,
1998. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation
that shall be considered by the agency. Bid Opening is tentatively
scheduled for 2:00 p.m. local time on December 17, 1998, at James M.
Hanley Federal Building, Room 1475, 100 S. Clinton Street, Syracuse,
