J -- PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE/REPAIR -- REFRIGERATION MACHINES SOL USDC-99-B-0001 DUE 121898 POC Mr. Fernandez, Contracting Officer, 305-536-3051 The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, transportation, materials, supplies, parts, and equipment, and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure effective completion of all services described in the Statement of Work (SOW), as described in Section C of subject solicitation. Contractor is to provide preventive maintenance, repair services and eddy current testing but not limited to the aforementined tasks for four (4) refrigeration machines as follows; (1) One York 250-Ton centrifugal chiller, Model YT C3 D3 B2-CGA, (2) One York 250-Ton centrifugal chiller, Model TY C3 D3 B2-CGA, (3) One Carrier 250-Ton centrifugal chiller, Model 19DH 5765CE and (4) One Carrier 150-Ton centrifugal chiller Model 19DH 4420AC. The work is to take place at the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida, 300 NE First Ave, Miami, Fl 33132. The SOW requires contractor to provide a 24-hour telephone line in order for the government to report unscheduled service calls to diagnose, calibrate, or make required repairs and/or adjustment after duty hours. The contractor is required to respond within 3 hours after initial notification. This solicitation provides for a base performance period, plus two option years. The base performance period is from February 1, 1999 to January 31, 2000. Each option is subject to FAR Clause 52.232-19, Availability of Funds For The Next Fiscal Year (APR 1984). SIC Code is 7623. All contractors/technicians must meet the qualification requirements dictated by EPA, state, and local regualations. Upon request, proff must be submitted for review and approval. Contractor's employees assigned to work at the courthouse complex are subject to a NCIC and local policy records check prior to be allowed to work. Any employee receiving an unfavorable clearance will not be allowed at the the courthouse complex. Estimated solicitation issue date is November 1998. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. This is a sealed bid solicitation. This solicitation is an unrestrictedprocurement.
