B -- REVIEW OF OFFICE OF WORKERS COMPENSATION PROGRAMS (OWCP) CLAIMS BY NPS SOL RP235099002 DUE 121598 POC Jim Clark, Contracting Officer, 303 969-2755 The National park Service (NPS) has a need to review case files from the Office of Workers Compensation Program(OWCP), administered by the Department of Labor. This will be a nationwide program. The reviews are designed to provide assistance in reducing and minimizing fraud and abuse of workers compensation benefits.The reviews will include on-site and telephone interviews with the appropriate NPS OWCP coordinator. It will be necessary to review files located at all 12 District Offices of the Department of Labor. After the review is complete, it will be necessary to develope an investigative plan in some cases. A final report on each case will be presented to the NPS management. A complete understanding of the Privacy Act of 1974, and all applicable regulations is necessary.
