The performance period will be for the basic year ending 30 Sep 99 and four option years (ending 30 Sep 2003). The anticipated award date will be 25 Nov 1998. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. This proposed procurement is under a 100 percent small business set aside, the size standard for which is 500 employees. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
