KNICKMAN_BOBBIE%PAX8A@MR.NAWCAD.NAVY.MIL. The Naval Air Systems Command
has a requirement in the Mediterranean for fleet training missions
under commercial air services contract. Contractor services are needed
to fly missions using fully-functional contractor-furnished jet
aircraft, operated by qualified personnel, and equipped to meet
specifications for support of U. S. Navy programs in the Naples, Italy
area. The mission types are: air intercept control, tracking,
antisubmarine air control, target towing, air-to-air towing,
surface-to-air towing, electronic warfare, and transport/utility
flights. All aircraft and equipment used for performance shall be
certified, operated, and maintained in accordance with FAA regulation
part 135. The contractor is responsible for operating and maintaining
its assets in accordance with FAA and European regulations. The
contractor is totally responsible for aircraft maintenance, equipment
and personnel. Successful offeror will be required to attain Air
Mobility Command (AMC) certification prior to award and contract
performance. Solicitation release is anticipated around 18 December
