918/669-7273 Construct two adjacent tactical equipment shop compounds
each consisting of a 2,761.5 square meter (SM) equipment shop and a
650.3 SM deployment equipment storage building. Also included is a 72
SM oil storage and water recycle building. Building construction will
be Type II-N, non-combustible and includes CMU veneer with CMU backup,
metal wall panels, translucent insulated wall panels, metal roof
panels, overhead insulated coiling doors, hollow metal doors and
frames, CMU walls, wire mesh partitions, suspended acoustical/ gypsum
board ceilings, sealed/hardened concrete flooring, vinyl composition
tile, recessed entry mat, quarry floor tile, ceramic wall tile, paint,
and millwork. HVAC systems in administrative areas will be variable
volume with heating at the VAV boxes. Chilled water is provided with a
packaged air cooled chiller. Heating is provided with a packaged
atmospheric cast iron boiler. Maintenance bays are heated with low
intensity tubular infrared heat. Maintenance spaces are ventilated with
a direct gas fired makeup air unit. Cooling will be by sidewall
propeller ventilation fans. Deployment and recycle buildings are heated
using separated combustion gas fired unit heaters. Also included is 206
space, asphalt POV parking lot, roller compacted concrete hardstand
parking area, miscellaneous concrete walks and paving, permanent chain
link fencing with barbed wire, and required utilities. Estimated cost
range of this project is $10,000,000 to $25,000,000. Plans and
specifications will be available on or about November 10, 1998, and
will be provided on Compact Disks (CD-ROM) free of charge. The number
of CD-ROMs will be limited to one (1) per firm. Plans and specs will
not be provided in a printed hard copy format. Requests for plans and
specs must be in writing (or via home page indicated below) to the
Tulsa District, Corps of Engineers, P.O. Box 61, Tulsa, OK 74121-0061.
