The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) intends to negotiate with Deneb Robotics, Inc. on a sole source basis for on site maintenance of the software program developed by Deneb Robotics. TACOM is issuing a combined Synopsis/ Solicitation pursuant to FAR Subpart 12.6, this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals will be accepted, however a written solicitation will not be issued. The Deneb Robotics software is as follows: IGRIP Software running on UNIX-SGI Platform, quantity of one (1); IGRIP Software running on UNIX-SGI Platform, quantity of one (1); Virtual NC Software running on UNIX-SGI Platform, quantity of one (1); QUEST Software running on UNIX-SGI Platform, quantity of one (1). The type of service is for a one year maintenance order with Deneb Robotics offering telephone support, updates to the program and field service engineering. FOB Destination will apply. Provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement and (ii) price. Offerors Representation and Certification-Commercial Items at FAR 52.212-3 are required to be submitted with the offer. This commercial services solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; it is issued as a request for proposal (RFP); proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 90-45. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR Clause 52.212-5(c) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and are hereby incorporated by reference.
