HOUSING PRIVATIZATION INDUSTRY FORUM An Industry Forum is being sponsored by the Competitive Sourcing and Privatization Division, Office of the Civil Engineer, Headquarters USAF. The purpose of the forum is to provide an atmosphere for government-industry feedback/interaction on current housing initiatives. The government will be sharing lessons learned from the recently awarded Lackland AFB Privatization Project. In addition, the government will be discussing the potential for municipal and state housing authorities to participate in the privatization of military family housing and will be also be discussing local, regional and nation-wide government-private agreements to "set-aside" private housing for military families. The intent of the forum is to dissiminate information to the industry and solicit industry comments on current privatization processes, procedures and recommendations for improvement. The forum will be held 20 NOVEMBER 1998 at the Harvey Hotel, 7815 LBJ Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75251.
