Kirchoff/Pkwrm/ [937]257-8344 This is a COMMERCIAL SOLICITATION to design and conduct a graduate level course in Police Administration. The course shall be conducted at the offeror's facility. Attendees will be Air Force officers and noncommissioned officers who possess bachelors degree and are actively involved in police administration. Offeror must provide housing, dining facilities, texts and materials and transportation when housing accommodations are not on site. Course will be taught once a year and shall include study in the areas of drug abuse, alcoholism, current issues in law enforcement, organization and personnel management. Resultant contract will be a base year and two option years. In accordance with the Debt Collection Act of 1996, the awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database. Mr. Stephen J. Plaisted has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer.
