The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (DOL/ETA) is soliciting proposals to provide technical assistance to 11 opportunity areas for out of school youth demonstrations. The contractor shall assist 5 new sites in the development of the project design, implementation of the design and provide quality training for staff and expert consultants where needed. The period of performance for the prospective award will be twelve (12) months, from the contract execution, with two 1 year options at the Government's discretion. The requirement is let under 100% Small Business Set Aside. The SIC Code is 8742 and the size standard is $5 million. Request for proposals will be available on our Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration's Internet Home Page at http://www.doleta.gov, approximately 15 days from the date of publication. Requests for proposals in hard copy form will also be available upon written request, only on a first come, first-serve basis, until the supply is exhausted. Telephone requests will not be honored. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The fee will not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the solicitation documents. Closing date for receipt of proposals will be December 4, 1998, at 2:00 P.M. local time. Requests for proposals must cite RFP-DAA-98-50 and must include two self addressed labels. Failure to enclose labels may cause delay in receipt of the solicitation. No collect calls will be accepted.
