The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for 50 Absorptive RF Bandpass Waveguide Filters. The RF filters are required in support of the Air Route Surveillance Radar 1/2 (ARSR) systems. The purpose of this announcement is to locate potential sources who have the ability to provide these filters. The filters must meet the following characteristics: 1. VSWR of the filter through the bandpass frequency range from 1250 MHz to 1350 MHz shall be 1.30:1 maximum. 2. Insertion loss of the filter through the bandpass frequency range from 1250 MHz to 1350 MHz shall be 0.3 dB maximum. 3. Air pressure tested to 25 psig. 4. Flange compatability with UG-418A/U. 5. Overall length not to exceed 13 ft. 6. Minimum attenuation for the reject bands from 1000 MHz to 1250 MHz and from 1350 MHz to 1800 MHz is to be as follows: Frequency dB's Min.
