COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF OCTOBER 9,1998 PSA#2198AUTOMATED ACQUISITION SYSTEMS The Office of Procurement, Department of
the Treasury, is seeking information on automated federal procurement
systems for procurement office operations, with the following
features: 1. Have the capability of being fully integrated with federal
financial management systems or have open architecture permitting
interfaces with a variety of federal financial management systems. 2.
Capable of electronically: (a)generating all manner of federal
procurement documents, forms and transactions, including simplified
acquisitions, contracts, Purchase Card actions, interagency agreements,
licensing agreements, etc.; (b) capturing and reporting all manner of
procurement statistics as required by the Federal Procurement Data
System (FPDS); (c) generating reports, including direct feed into the
FPDS, or an equivalent data warehouse service for formatting to FPDS.
3. Full electronic commerce capability with industry. 4. Operation in
client/server environments and be fully usable over an international
organizationalIntranet. 5. Windows environment. 6. Maintained current
with all applicable subject matter regulations and statutes at least on
a bimonthly basis, but preferably more frequently through on-line
service. 7. Customer-requested changes to the system to be done simply
and at reasonable cost. 8. User training. 9. Security features which
meet all applicable network security laws and regulations. 10.
Immediate on-call Help Desk service. 11. Y2K compliant. 12. Site
license availability. 13. Active government and commercial user
group(s), with which the manufacturer has an established record of
responsiveness. 14. Contractor preferably ISO 9001 compliant.

and point of contact, (2) list of products that meet the stated
criteria and related pricing, (3) list of contract vehicles and other
interagency agreements currently in place that allow cross-servicing
and ordering and, (4) any other brochures and developed literature that
