58 -- RADAR TRANSMITTING SET SOL N68936-99-R-0003 DUE 111798 POC Dominga Skaruppa, Contract Specialist, 805/989-7001 The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division intends to solicit competitive proposals for Radar Transmitting Sets (RTS), AN/UPT-2A(V). The RTS shall be manufactured in accordance with the Requirements Statement for Radar Transmitting Set AN/UPT-2A(V), ATS-SP-635 and NAVAIRSYSCMD Drawings 1236AS2102 and 1236AS2170. The RTS is a pulse modulated radar threat simulator. The design configuration includes two modules, a high voltage power supply and a separate modulator unit and all interconnecting cables. The multiple environments and usage requirements (target drones, aircraft pods, shipboard and ground vehicles) impose sever size, weight, prime power and cooling constraints. The RTS shall interface with the the Government owned magnetrons listed in the Requirements Statement. The weight of the RTS shall not exceed 42 pounds, excluding magnetron and cables. Total requirement is for 5 each Radar Transmitting Sets. Deliver at a minimum rate of 3 each per month to commence no later than 150 DAC. Delivery shall be FOB Destination.
