Provide all materials, equipment, transportation and labor to install modular command console centers in two different locations, the Network Operations Center and the Network Engineering Center, in Bldg. 1007, on Ellsworth AFB, SD. Work shall be completed within 60 days after notification of contract award. It is desired, but not required, that the Network Operations Center, consisting of two consoles, be completely installed no later than 23 November 98. Functionality, aesthetics, and timely installation of Network Operations Center will be weighted greater than price. The five command consoles shall consist of individual modular units, each designed to be assembled into a complete console structure not to exceed an overall height of 7'6". The consoles shall be made of heavy gage steel. Four consoles shall each house and mount twelve personal computers, 21" CRT's and one console shall house and mount six personal computers, 21" CRT's. All consoles shall include space for one large screen video monitor (36"- 30.4 x 34.6 x 24.8), rack mounted components, phones, and supplies. Each console shall have a minimum of 16" wide desktop surface. The consoles shall be designed to fully encase equipment and cables both front and back. Ventilation fans shall be integrated into consoles to minimize equipment overheating. All surface interiors and exteriors shall be painted and/or laminated. The manufacturer shall provide available colors and patterns.
