The overhaul planned quantities are 1st year 65, 2nd year 65, 4th year 65, and 5th year 65. FOB origin to Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX. The Government intends to issue an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity firm fixed price type contract with five consecutive ordering periods. The minimum quanity is 65 each and the maximum quantity is 368 each. Required delivery is 35 each per month commencing 90 days after receipt of reparable assets. This procurement previously was a 100% small business set-aside. Note: the restriction for 100% small business set-aside has been removed. This procurement is now a full and open procurement to all Allison and Allison Licensed contractors. NOTE: THIS PROCUREMENT IS LIMITED TO ALLISON AND ALLISON LICENSED CONTRACTORS/MAINTENANCE CENTERS ONLY AND/OR TO THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER. This procurement requires prequalification. All responsible sources which are an Approved Allison and Allison licensed contract may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only one source or only a limited number of responsible sources. This proposed contract action is for maintenace and overhaul of the nozzle, fuel, In. for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The time required for approval to become an Allison and Allison licensed contractor is such that award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations IAW with the instructions contained in Section L of the solicitation.
