(Site Code DAPC49) The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, lubricants, and shipping to perform required repairs and shall be responsible for providing all replacement parts unless specifically stated otherwise. The contractor shall remove and replace all moving and worn parts of the coal elevator. This shall include, but not be limited to, all chains, links, pins, bushings, bearings, buckets, head shaft, tail shaft, sprockets, sidebars, drive motor, reduction gear, drive coupling, and any hardware required for the mounting and securing of any required materials. The contractor shall secure any required hot work permits. The enviroment in which this project is located contains coal dust. Wash down of this area will be required in order to perform any welding, cutting, or grinding. Wash down shall be the contractor's responsibility. The roof may have to be removed to accomodate installation of the rebuilt elevator. If roof removal is required, it shall be replaced with a like system as the existing roof.
