This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and therefore, a formal written solicitation will not be issued. HQ0028-8266-8625 is a sole source procurement. The intended source is Broadcast Electronics, 4100 N. 24th Street, Quincy, IL 62305. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-05. The Television-Audio support Activity intends to purchase the following: One (1) ea installation and operator training for Broadcast Electronics AV100 Systems at the following customer sites: Bavaria, Kaiserslautern, Wuerzburg, and Heidelberg, Germany; Shape, Mons Belgium; Vicenza, Maddalena, Livorno, Naples, and Sigonella, Italy. The Brand named items have been identified as meeting or exceeding the Government's minimum requirements but are not established as standards upon which other offered brand named items will be evaluated. Standard commercial warranty is required. Installation and training dates shall be coordinated between Contractor and Customer Sites at time of award.
