(BEP) is requesting quotations from vendors for (A) one (1) Ohio
Semitronics Model SG-2-02H, Process Signall Conditioner with input
capability 0-10 volts, output capability 0 to 10 volts DC proportional
to 10 to 10 volts input, frequency response _ 1KHZ; accuracy +/-0.5%
full scale; isolation, input to output and input/output to powerline
1000 volts; signal conditioner power _ 120 VAC 60 HZ AND (B) one (1)
Load Controls Model PH-1A DC Analog Output Power cells with DC variable
frequency kilowatt sensor based on Hall effect current/power
measurement technology, frequency range DC to 500 HZ, analog output
0-10 volts (for full scale) proportional to RMS of DC input, with
internal filter network to provide adjustable response time of analog
output signal, power measurement capacity _ 75 kilowatts, full scale
for input ranges voltage 0 to 500 volt DC, current 0 to 150 amps; full
scale accuracy, 1% for all inputs DC and time varying power waveforms,
sensor power 120VAC 60HZ AND (C) one (1) Load Controls Model KWH _ 2
power and energy meter with digital display of instantaneous power _
kilowatts display of power in red leds, 0.5 to 0.75 inches high,
digital display of accumulated energy _ kilowatt-hours/kilowatt-minutes
with memory and backup and reset control, analog input capability to 0
to 10 volt for full scale corresponding to 0 to 10 volt analog output
from DC power sensor, full scale digital display capability of 75KW
with +/- 20% adjustment range, internal filtering to dampen response of
digital display for instantaneous power, full scale accuracy 1%, meter
power 120 VAC 60HZ. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in
FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined
synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation;
a written request for quotation will not be issued. Funds are not
presently available for performance for this requirement until after
October 1, 1998 (Fiscal Year 1999 funds). The Government_s obligation
for performance of this requirement beyond that date is contingent upon
the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract
purposes can be made. This procurement is 100% set aside for small
businesses (see numbered Note 1). The applicable NAICS (formerly SIC)
code is 334513 or SIC Code 3823 and the associated small business size
standard is 500 employees. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is
49PS-01. The total quantity is one (1) each of A, B and C stated above.
Delivery shall be made within 15 days after receipt of purchase order.
Delivery terms are F.O.B Destination to the (BEP Loading Dock at _D_
Street, Between 13th and 14th Sts., S.W. Washington, D.C.) The
resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award
shall be price and other factors e.g., past performance and quality.
All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written
quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be
made on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include
the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price,
any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact,
address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS
number, and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business
or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule
please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due October 9,
1998. Quotations may be mailed to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing
