202-622-6585 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial
items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as
supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This
announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being
requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation
number A-98-13 is a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document
and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through
Federal Acquisition Circular 97-06. This requirement is not a set-aside
for small business. The standard industrial classification code is
7521, with a small business size standard of $5 million. The Department
of the Treasury, Departmental Offices intends to award contracts for
parking services at the following locations: Location #1 -- Washington,
DC -- 17 Spaces Requirements for Parking Site: -Parking facility must
have overhead cover. -Parking facility must be within two blocks of 601
13th Street, NW. -Parking facility must have 24 hour access. -Parking
facility must have 8 foot clearance. Location #2 -- Washington, DC --
16 Spaces Requirements for Parking Site: -Parking facility must have
overhead cover. -Parking facility must be within two blocks of 740 15th
Street, NW. -Parking facility must have 24 hour access. -Parking
facility must have 8 foot clearance. The anticipated period of
performance for this requirement is October 1, 1998 through September
30, 1999. The clauses and provisions listed below are incorporated and
made a part of this solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors
-- Commercial and 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items (a) The
Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation
to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation
requirements and will be most advantageous to the Government, price and
other related factors considered; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and
Certifications -- Commercial Items (a) the contractor shall include a
completed copy of the provisions with their offer; 52.212-4, Contract
Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; 52-212-5, Contract Terms and
Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders --

responsible offerors will be considered and may submit quotations by
September 28, 1998, no later than 11:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time.
